I dont see anything wrong with whats going on. You think Bush and Cheney make all the decisions. What about all the Congressman and Senators. Surely we dont elect them and pay them big salaries for nothing...If something wasnt being done right we would know about it. You all just cant stand a person to make some money. Im sure that if there was some solution that said if Haliburton would give back every cent that they have profited from the war in Iraq that all the problems there would be fixed, they would and not blink an eye.

So people should be punished be because they are blessed to have money???? Its America, everybody has the same opportunities. If they find a multi-million dollar seam of coal under your house tomorrow why dont you just send all of the profits over to Iraq how about that, you wouldnt like that to well now would you? You do notice that the Army are the ones giving it to Haliburton in the first place. I think its a weird situation all the way around but I in no way see how it reflects Bush or Cheney.

The thing is , it is a BONUS , in a contract set by the same folks that set their own pay from our taxes. The guys on the ground average , what a thousand dollars a month? Just pay them (Haliburton) what they agreed to. That was the point, till some felt that their future and the great folks in the white house were threatened. They are already rich and still collect that bonus that COULD be spent on the guys doing the fighting. It just ain't right, that is how this country was started.

Bidding of contracts? Ok. So i guess we can say blind sided and ok. Cheney had nothing to do with Halliburton.

This isnt a lost battle as far as Im concerned, you havent convinced me of anything nor have I you. That basketball thing was just as this one a really weird situation. I got the info and just thought everyone would like to know not knowing what a bunch of nuts there were on here or I would have never said a thing. I never in my wildest dreams thought that, that of all things would cause that much ruckuss. I really dont see how that has anything to do with this at all though.
